Scope, Sourcing and Limits of This Reference
What this reference covers, where its facts come from, and the claims it deliberately refuses to make.
Visit TopSport →This is an independently published market reference. Competition facts trace to the governing bodies, legal facts to the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and ACMA, and brand facts to the public record of the 2025 acquisition. It prints no odds, no selections and no operator-set numbers, because those change and would otherwise be guesses.
This reference explains how betting markets are built across Australian sport and racing. It is independent: not the official TopSport website, not affiliated with or endorsed by the operator, and it takes no deposits, holds no funds and places no wagers.
What is sourced where. Facts about the competitions — team counts, finals formats, race distances, scoring — come from the governing bodies and are checkable against them. Facts about Australian law come from the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and its regulator, ACMA. Facts about the brand come from the public record of BlueBet’s acquisition of TopSport, completed in April 2025.
What is deliberately absent. No odds, no selections and no recommendations. No minimum deposits, fees, limits, payout times or market counts: those are set by the operator and change, so printing a number here would mean guessing. Where something is the operator’s to state, this reference says so instead of inventing it.

Sources, and when they were checked
Every legal statement on this page can be checked at its source. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 is administered by the Australian Communications and Media Authority, which publishes what may and may not be offered online in Australia. BetStop is the national self-exclusion register, and Gambling Help Online is the national support service.
Brand facts — the 2025 acquisition, the platform accounts moved to and the current licence — come from the operator’s own corporate page at betr.com.au/about-us. All of the above were read on 24 September 2026. Where a figure is set by the operator and can change — limits, fees, market counts — this guide does not print it, because a number we cannot stand behind is worse than no number.
